Kodak Improves Professional Portra 400 Film

08/02/08

Kodak has released improved versions of its Professional Portra 400NC and 400VC color negative films. According to the company, the new Portras offer finer grain. Portra films also have an emulsion overcoat to improve results with scanners, and are designed to produce smooth, natural skin tones for portrait photography.

The new Portra films will become available as retailers deplete their stocks of the previous versions. They can be distinguished from the older films by the "Even Finer Grain!" text on the box.

The SWPP 2008 Convention was an outstanding success,
we have 174 days to get ready for the 2009 convention - which starts on January 14, 2009
