Digital SLR photographers on the move can now shoot all day with Lowepro’s new Fastpack Series of backpacks.

Lightweight and comfortable, Fastpack combines speed with ease of use as a multi-purpose camera backpack, providing fast side-entry access to gear to capture the moment on the go, while comfortably holding personal gear for a day’s shooting. The Fastpack series is available in four sizes, 100, 200, 250 and 350. Available in three colours (black, arctic blue/black and red/black) from February 2008, the Fastpack series is priced from £55-£85.

The main compartment’s adjustable dividers securely hold a digital or pro digital SLR, opening to give full 180º easy access while packing. There is also space for one or more extra lenses, flashes or other accessories, while a security flap provides additional protection for outer compartments.

The separate large upper compartment can accommodate personal gear and has a dedicated holder to store digital memory cards. The Fastpack 250 and 350 models also have a dedicated laptop compartment for a widescreen notebook up to 15.4in - 17in respectively, while in addition the 350 can comfortably accommodate a pro digital SLR with grip and long lens.

In addition, the Fastpack is packed with other clever storage features. It has a harness pocket for a mobile phone or mp3 player, a mesh side pocket for a water bottle or other personal gear, while its SlipLock accessory loop also allows wearers to expand the carrying capacity further with compatible pouches.

The tough, water-resistant outer fabric provides protection for all your gear and its reversed silent zips resist sand and dirt. In addition, the air-mesh padded back and cushioned, contoured, shoulder straps with DryFlow fabric offer breathable comfort all day.
