Leading prolab Loxley Colour is investing £1 million on the launch of an
exclusive online marketing solution that it claims will revolutionise the way
professional photographers promote their businesses in the UK.
The lab’s pioneering Dynamo Press solution offers photographers the
chance to create their own bespoke professional marketing collateral at a
fraction of the cost of using design houses.
Loxley has created a brand new customised ‘Dynamo Press’ department,
complete with state-of-the-art HP Indigo Press and fully trained technicians at
its Glasgow HQ.
Chris Kay, Loxley Colour marketing manager said: “This is a UK first in the
industry. Dynamo Press is simple to use and yet provides customers with
all the tools they need to create highly professional and fully bespoke
marketing products, including personalised gift vouchers, letterheads, trifolds,
postcards and business cards. We are offering the flair of a professional design
house but at a very low cost”
He added: “Even at launch we have hundreds of products to choose from – and many
more will follow in coming weeks. It’s a really simple three step process
online.
Photographers select the design and product and upload any images they wish to
use in the finished products. They then edit the chosen design and preview it
before ordering. They add the finished product to the basket and follow the
payment instructions. Job done.
The range is split into three categories: stationery – including business cards,
compliment slips and letterheads; promotional – gift voucher and greetings
cards; marketing – postcards, product postcards, quadfolds and trifolds.”
Dynamo Press is the first of a raft of new initiatives for Loxley
customers.
It follows hot-on-the-heels of the launch of the LDP (Loxley Designer PRO)
page layout software for professionals and compliments the earlier launch of the
hugely successful ROES (Remote Order Entry System) – the fastest and most
proficient online ordering solution available today.
