The Profilux is a pedigree precision product with a proven track record and worldwide fan base. Designed to make the photographer’s life easy, it is a compact, lightweight, rugged and reliable studio flash unit. It is eminently suitable for both digital and film photography.

Its compact dimensions make it the ultimate portable studio kit. Multiple units pack into convenient carry bags and cases. There is even a ‘rucksack’ kit.

Three power range models of 200, 400 and 600 W/s mean it can be used in high power digital studios as well as the lower powered portrait studio. ISO 100 @ 1 metre f/stops of f/32, f/64 and f/90(with standard 16cm reflector. Power/light output of each model is variable at 25~200, 50~400 and 75~600 W/s. Kits can be ‘mix-n-match’ with choice of any mix of units. A portrait studio could for instance have a 1-2-3 power/light ratio with one of each whereas a digital ‘large format’ studio would plump for all 600s.

The Profilux boasts a second to none range of light shaping accessories with just about every type of reflector and a multitude of softboxes. Recent additions to the range are the ‘Lightball’ and combi ‘Beauty Reflector.’ There is just as wide a range of lightstands.
