Tenba Announces "ProDigital 2.0" Carry Gear

Elmsford, NY, June 6, 2005 - Tenba has launched the latest generation of its popular ProDigital carrying case and accessory collection. The new "ProDigital 2.0" lineup includes two all-new products, as well as comprehensive updates to existing ProDigital products.

The first new addition is the PG-17C “Gemini,” which the company describes as “two bags in one... a ‘studio on your shoulder,’ and an entirely new approach to digital carry gear.” The Gemini is a two-sided case – one side for photo equipment, and one side for laptop plus business necessities. The Gemini has the unique option to separate the two sides and carry them independently, as a standalone camera bag and a laptop case.

On the laptop side, Gemini offers room for a notebook computer up to 17" PowerBook size, either in the main laptop section or the included, removable office organizer sleeve. The laptop section features Tenba’s Location Station™ work area, complete with a drop-down laptop surface, pop-up glare/privacy shield, and pass-through cord port, all designed to make for more efficient and productive field work. The photo side features movable, padded divider walls that can be configured to hold one or more digital SLR camera bodies, multiple lenses, and accessories. The outer walls of the case are reinforced with a polymer frame sheet for support, protection and durability. Notably, with the cases joined and fully loaded, Gemini is not much larger than a typical business/laptop case, and fits in overhead compartments and standard under-seat stowage areas.

The other new ProDigital 2.0 addition is the PM-17C Messenger, a body-hugging, urban influenced shoulder bag with 20 pockets and compartments, including an integral padded laptop sleeve. The Messenger is a flexible, multipurpose satchel – its roomy main compartment is equally well-suited for laptop and business essentials, basic photo gear, or even clothes and supplies for a day’s travel or trip to the gym. Features include through-the-flap access to the laptop compartment, organizer pockets for iPod®, compact camera, glasses, pens and dozens of other items, and features a comfort grip handle and much more.

Other products in the ProDigital 2.0 collection include photo/laptop backpacks, shoulder bags and media wallets. All have been updated for 2005 with new materials and features, including genuine, U.S.-made Cordura© nylon outer shells, clearview media card pockets, and 3M Scotchlite™ reflective trim. ProDigital backpacks and selected shoulder bags also feature Tenbaís new WeatherWrap™ auxiliary protection cover, which the company claims is the "fastest-deploying, most user-friendly cover of its kind." ProDigital 2.0 products range in manufacturerís suggested retail price from $10 to $18 for Media Wallets and from $150 to $360 for full-featured shoulder bags and backpacks.

The SWPP 2008 Convention was an outstanding success,
we have 99 days to get ready for the 2009 convention - which starts on January 14, 2009
