At his studio Satya uses Nikons, Fuji Pro Digital,Mamiya 67 and Sinar 5x4 camera gear along with Elinchrom lighting. His connections with the film industry often enables him to piggyback onto the lighting used for sets. His work covers a broad spectrum of shooting from kids to captians of industy and from engineering gizmos to large scale medical installations. (He seems to get to take lots of pretty girls! - Ed.)

Satya Prabhu FSWPP runs a studio in Hyderabad, India, specialising mainly in advertising work (Hyderabad is in the center of India, famous for its tea and very hot biriyani). Like so many photographers, he is an engineer by background, who was drawn to photography as a passion, then as a part-timer and eventually took the plunge and went full time.Unable to follow a conventional route into photography because of family commitments he is self taught and has seen his share of 20-hour days on the way to building up his business and client list .This now includes some famous names like Dr Reddy, McCann Erikson and Ogilvy.
