SWPP member Simone Sutton has returned from WPPI 2007, Las Vegas with the highest number of Gold awards in this years Print competition, of all UK entries.
It was Simones first attempt at International Print Competition and after several merits in the SWPP monthly competition she had the courage & confidence to take her favourite images to compete with the best in the world.
Out of 8 images entered, all 8 received a mark over 80, her highest
score being 86.
One of the leading judges, Ken Sklute, was so taken by one of her images
that his own personal score was 94.
Simone comments. “This has really given my confidence a boost. To have your work judged by truly international professional photographers who I respect and admire, means so much to me. I will be taking their comments onboard and searching for new ways to refine my work so that, this year, I can provide my clients with new and innovative images of their children and weddings.”
Simone had one last surp0rize in store for her on the final Awards night at Bally’s, Las Vegas. One of her prints took 3rd place in the Premiere category!!
