Talk Synopsis - Foundation Lighting

Let there be Light (09:00-13:00)

Marko will show you how lighting can be used quickly and simply to create flattering and dynamic portrait, wedding and fashion images.

Various lighting techniques will be demonstrated so that delegates will have a basic but thorough knowledge of what to look for from their lighting.

The course will also demonstrate how these techniques can be the building blocks for more adventurous lighting both in studio and on location.

The Morning Session is studio based.

Illumination (13:30-17:30)

Location fashion lighting for weddings, portraits and fashion.

The aim of the seminar is to illustrate how to add more style, content and glamour to portrait and wedding photography.

The course will look at various lighting, compositional, motivational and narrative techniques that will add a higher quality feel to portraits and weddings on location.

Techniques derived from primarily fashion photography will be assessed and explained so that they can be quickly and easily adapted to give your social photography a far more sophisticated edge that will help photographers to cater to a higher end market with a resulting increase in sales.

The postproduction of the imagery and the presentation and selling techniques used will also be discussed.

The Afternoon session could be on location [so bring walking shoes!]
