Australian Master Photographer, Ryan Schembri is one of the industry’s brightest stars. At just 24 years of age he has achieved what most long-standing veterans of the industry see in a lifetime.

A double Master of Photography with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography), Ryan has achieved international acclaim for his work being awarded the title of ‘Accolade of Exceptional Photographic Achievement’ from the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International), twice winning the ‘International Wedding Print of the Year’ in 2006 & 2007 and ‘International Photojournalism Print of the Year’ in 2006. Ryan’s long list of accolades comes from all parts of the world.

His upbringing being the son of well respected Australian Master Photographer - Martin Schembri stead him in good steed, from Ryan’s shooting style to his unparallel post production work, it is Ryan’s breath of fresh air in the industry that has caused him to become so well known & so highly respected.

Ryan's Bio

Ryan a master photographer runs his XSiGHT Photography & Video photographic business in Sydney Australia (contact details) He grew up in a photographic environment and worked in the family business from the age of 12 and while only being in his 20's he seen and experienced a great deal.

Following in his fathers footsteps (Martin Schembri) he has extensively lectured around the world and won many inferentially acclaimed accolades for his photographic ability.

In 2004 at the age of just 20 Ryan became the youngest Master of Photography with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers) and has since gone on to gain his AOPM with WPPI.

In 2006 Ryan became the youngest winner of the title NSWAIPP Wedding photographer of the year. 2006 became a very big year for Ryan as he took home the titles of International Wedding print of the year and International Photojournalistic print of the year, from the annual WPPI Conference in Las Vegas, USA

Through his passion of pushing boundaries, Ryan has truly stamped his mark and style on the wedding photography world.
