By the early 1980's the barn had fallen into a bad state of repair and was fully restored in 1987. The historic gardens surrounding the hall make a beautiful backdrop for photographs. In this unique setting we only hold a limited number of weddings each year, and you are therefore assured of exclusivity by our strict policy of never accepting more than one client per day.
We have a very special, photogenic garden with a 'knot' following a design of 1640, orchard, arbour, nut walk and an annual border.
Venue History: The spirit of this romantic property, one time hiding place to the fugitive king, Charles II, can only be appreciated by experiencing its timeless tranquillity first hand.
