Weddings at Kingston have great care paid to every detail for this most special of days. Flares in the gardens on a Summers evening, or roaring fires in the Winter, candlelight and lovely flower arrangements in the Bride's colour scheme make the perfect setting. The Marble Hall is licensed for Civil Weddings & Civil Partnerships and can seat up to 50, larger gatherings can be achieved by having some rows of seating, and more guests standing for the ceremony, which lasts about 20 minutes. Afterwards, Wedding breakfasts can be either for adults only in the house from 4 up to 42 guests for a seated breakfast or up to 60 for a buffet, dancing is possible too. Or, in The Garden Suite for up to 96 for a seated Wedding Breakfast, lovely oak floor for dancing, sound system, Bar, Buffet Room for coffee, with drawing from the dancing or later buffet for extra guests. Or, up to 130 with a Marquee adjoining the house, carpeted, dance floor etc.

GROOM'S CAKE
The tradition of a "Groom's Cake" comes from England and Ireland. There, the traditional groom's cake is a fruit cake with white icing. The groom's cake is usually served along with the traditional wedding cake. Today groom's cakes are very often chocolate instead of the traditional fruit cake.
