Venue History: Privately owned by Janet Simpson. Janet and her mother established the hotel 30 years ago by converting the family farm into a small hotel. Since then the hotel has grown organically and now has 30 bedrooms, award winning gardens, kitchen gardens and 4 stars. In 2010 the Victorian Orangery was added,which adds a contemporary feel and a further option for private dining.
Other information: It recently won Lancshire Hotel of the Year at the Lancashire Life Food and Drink Awards.
