We are licensed to stage civil ceremonies and can accommodate guests for a seated wedding breakfast, or more if you choose to have one of our stunning wedding buffets. A luxurious marquee pavilion can be placed on our croquet lawn, allowing still larger numbers to be accommodated.
Exclusive use of the house offers much more flexibility of arrangements and timings. Imagine yourself as Lord and Lady of the Manor for a day or two, with the whole of the Lake Country House and grounds at your disposal.

GROOM'S CAKE
The tradition of a "Groom's Cake" comes from England and Ireland. There, the traditional groom's cake is a fruit cake with white icing. The groom's cake is usually served along with the traditional wedding cake. Today groom's cakes are very often chocolate instead of the traditional fruit cake.
