About
Profile: I have been shooting professionally since 2004. Wedding and Portraiture are my main areas of interest; photographing people is what I enjoy the most. For the most part my style is natural, although I love to add creative touches when I think they are required. What I enjoy most about what I do is that no two clients are the same, therefore I have a different set of challenges for each shoot. One thing is guaranteed - I never stop learning! I believe the key to being a good photographer is not only possessing good camera and lighting skills but also the ability to communicate with people. It is essential that you have the ability to quickly put clients at their ease.
Story telling is very popular in photography at present, especially for weddings, and I really enjoy capturing this style of imagery. It is not as easy as it sounds, and as I am always keen to including personality and emotion in my images this requires another set of skills that I have honed: patience (I am a mum of 3 boys, so plenty of that), concentration (constantly people watching) and anticipation (key to a great candid image). The odd bit of luck is always welcome.
