As a child I can always remember looking through the pictures my Grandfather took while serving with the Household Cavalry in the Middle East, North Africa and Italy during the second world war. His pictures of local people, church's and mosque's captured my imagination and I believe inspired my love of photography from an early age. As a young boy I was always taking pictures with my parents camera up until my Aunt gave me her Pentax SLR which opened the door to professional quality pictures. As with so many things in life, I went in a different direction and spent many enjoyable years working for HSBC. However, as the years went by my interest and love of photography resurfaced and when the opportunity presented itself I left HSBC and undertook a year long academy programme with The Trained Eye. They helped to develop and perfect my style. I was then ready for my new career as a professional wedding photographer. I'm married to my amazing wife, Kim. We have four lovely children all of whom have left home. In 2015 I was given the honour and privilege of giving away my beautiful daughter, since then our daughter and son-in-law have given us our first grandchild. Two of our three sons are now married and in the next eighteen months are third son will be getting married. So I have experience of being on both sides of the camera. My wife and I have a real love of dogs and have two Cocker Spaniels; Bramble & Bracken. So naturally our holidays are very dog centric. Each summer we go glamping' with family and friends to Norfolk. Our friends have two Spanish Water dogs. Luckily, we all love long walks along sandy beaches and of course cups of tea, Bar-B-Ques and the odd glass of wine.
