I have been in photography: on and off all my life, but in a serious capacity 4-5 years

How I got started in photography: My grandad had a love of photography which my mom used to talk about when I was small, my dad had a love of photographing architecture and airplanes, and my first relationship was with someone who was a portrait photograph enthusiast.

My personality: I have a lively sense of humour. I'm able to listen to others, I'm open to ideas, yet sensitive to the needs of those around me.

Success in photography: Bronze award in The Portrait Masters 2018

Photographic training: Completed a Diploma in Photography through the Blackford Centre (distance learning), and started the Advanced Diploma modules.

My interests outside photography: History, Gardening, Travel, Cooking, Dogs, Music, Rugby, Family History Research

Major events: Diagnosed with oral bone cancer in 2014, re-occurance in 2017
