Frontier-S DX100 gives photographers control - part 1 of 1

Virginia using one of Time Photography’s two Frontier-S DX100s.

Virginia from Time Photography, a small independentphotographic company specialising in schools, weddings and family portraits, tells us about herexperience with the DX100.

We wanted to take more controlof our workflow and bettermanage our output so after a littleresearch, we invested in the Frontier-SDX100. We chose this printer for afew different reasons.

Firstly, having the ability toproduce prints at a variety of sizesis incredibly important in the schoolphotography sector, not only becausethe customer expects it but also forincreased sales opportunities - themore sizes we can produce the morechances we have to upsell. With theDX100 we are also able to easilyprint panoramics, which are alwaysin high demand, particularly forclass photos.

The quality of the prints is just asimportant as the volume of prints andfrom day one we have been veryhappy with the quality this printerproduces. Image after image, theDX100 renders each picture superbly.

And the number of images that theprinter can ‘run’ without us haveing tocheck or adjust anything is incredible. There are often days when I can justlet it run for hours at a time.

The DX100 fits perfectly in theboot of our car, without having tolower the back seats or make anyother adjustments and is perfectlymanageable when moving from shoot to shoot.

The DX100 is a real workhorse. It’spowered us through our busiest timesof years without complaint. In fact, ithas become such an integral part ofour business that we have just boughta second unit!

I would definitely recommend theDX100 to any photographic businessthat is looking to take more control oftheir printing and increase the optionsthey can offer to their clients.
