The Biography - Ron Pybus Ron learned his photography at school in Salford, Greater Manchester, and after a few years of working as a wedding and press photographer, went into Local Government. He was made redundant in 1996 and turned professional as a photographer in 1998. He holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and Market Research, Post Graduate Certificates in Management Practices from Bath University School of Management, plus a Diploma in Photographic Practice. He was a former Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and is an Associate of the SWPP, and the RPS. He is one of three national assessors for the Diploma in Photographic Practice and runs a successful home-based portrait and commercial business. He runs training courses on the business aspect of photography combined, if required, with the basics of studio photography.
