The new FujiFilm Frontier-S DX100 was on show. It is a multi purpose inkjet printer that enables photo retailers and event photographers to have a scalable system that supports their various printing services, installation space and budget. The FRONTIER-S DX100 was developed with flexibility in mind to combine the benefits of a dye sublimation printer size, portability and ease of use with the vivid but accurate colour reproduction and deep blacks of an inkjet printer. With the new FRONTIER-S DX100, customers in the retail, event and government industries can take advantage of its small footprint, Frontier quality printing, linear consumable pricing, variable print size and surface flexibility for maximum efficiency and profitability. A full review is planned for the next issue of Imagemaker
Damian McGillicuddy was everywhere; apart from his formal seminars, he was running live demonstrations alongside the central staircase for his sponsor, Olympus. The results of his labours were also on display in the foyer downstairs.
The album and book manufacturers were well represented in the Trade Show this being one of the few places where they can strut their stuff to the right demographic! It is certainly the only way to see and handle finished albums and books, something that cannot be done on the internet!
We managed to secure a number of images shot at the various seminar locations and this is also a good place to thank our wonderful models and make-up artists who worked patiently and tirelessly throughout the week.
